Event Day Information
Below is some "at a glance" information to help your event day run smoothly.
Please note: All Stadium Stomp Gabba participants are required to sign a printed copy of the Terms & Conditions and bring it with them before collecting their participant bib. To save delay on the day, download a copy here.
Access will be available from 6:00am Wave
times begin from 7:00am event day. New waves will commence every 15 minutes
thereafter until 11am. Please arrive 30-45 minutes prior to your wave time
to allow time for race bib collection, baggage check in etc. However, you do not need to be at the marshalling area until 15 minutes prior to your wave starting.
Where do I go on arrival?
Please make your way to Gate 2 upon arrival. From here you will easily be able to navigate to the registration area (to collect your bib kits), marshalling area and start line.
Warming up will form part of your marshalling experience. There will be trainers to run you through a quick warm up routine before you stomp.
Wave time assembly/ Marshaling area
Please enter the marshaling area no earlier than 15 minutes before your wave time
commences. Your bib number will indicate
to us which wave time you should be in and our MC will be on load speaker to call up each wave time to the marshaling area as required. Listen out for these.
day bib and merchandise collection (option - you can collect on the day)
Bibs and merchandise will not be posted. These are for collection only. You can collect your bib kits and any pre-purchased merchandise at the venue, via Gate 2 at the ticket collection booths at the below time:

Collecting a bib for a friend?
Collecting for a friend is only possible with a copy of their registration or written permission (text message OK so long as we can verify the message origin) along with a copy of their signed waiver. Photo ID may be required to collect your kits if you don't have a copy of your registration confirmation email with you. You may also collect on event day from the registration area but be sure to allow extra time for this.
If you ordered an Official Stadium Stomp merchandise, this will also be available for collection by the above means. Merchandise is not being posted.
will be a bag compound available if you wish to use this facility. Look out
for signage on the day and be sure to collect your race bib first as you'll
need the tag from your bib to place on your bag.
and car parking
There is no public car park within the stadium, however, signed parking is available in surrounding streets. There is a paid parking option at the Queensland Cricketers' Club Car Park ($15) at 83 Linton Street, East Brisbane. To redeem this offer book online here.
For public transport, the Woolloongabba Bus Station is located adjacent to the ground (on Mains Rd). Your closest train station to the venue is Park Rd. For more information about public transport options to The Gabba including service timetables, please visit the Translink website or call 13 12 30

Post event extras
Massage will be available for participants post climb. A number of massage tables will be available on a first in best dressed
family and friends are welcome to wander through the event day Expo.
event photographs will be taken by Super Sport Images on the course and at the
finish line. These will be available for purchase post event via their
website (www.supersportimages.com). Allow a couple of days post event for these to become available.
There will be a coffee cart on site supplying limited food. It is recommended you bring a snack with you to refuel.

A designated seating area is assigned for spectators. Enter via Gate 2.
