Event Day Information
Below is some "at a glance" information to help your event day run smoothly. Full details will be available in the Event Day Information email made available closer to the day.
The Start/ Arriving
Access available from 8:00am. Wave times begin from 9:00am event day. New waves will commence every 15 minutes thereafter until 11:30pm. Please arrive 30-45 minutes prior to your wave time to allow time for race bib collection, baggage check in etc. However, you do not need to be at the marshalling area until 15 minutes prior to your wave starting.
Where do I go on arrival?
Head to Gate H off Reimers Ave.
Wave time assembly/ Marshalling area
Please enter the marshalling area no earlier than 15 minutes before your wave time commences. Your bib number will indicate to us which wave time you should be in and our MC will be on load speaker to call up each wave time to the marshalling area as required. Listen out for these.
Bib and merchandise collection
Bibs and pre-purchased merchandise are not being posted and are for collection only at one of the below times (collecting in advance of Event Day will save you having to queue). Please head to Gate H at either:
- Saturday TBC (Pre-event): 10:30am - 2:30pm
- Sunday TBC (Event day): from 8am
Can I collect for a friend?
Collecting for a friend is only possible with a copy of their registration or written permission (text message OK so long as we can verify the message origin). Photo ID will be required to collect your kits if you don't have a copy of your registration confirmation email with you.
There will be a bag compound available if you wish to use this service. Look out for signage on the day and be sure to collect your race bib first as you'll need the tag from your bib to place on your bag.
Transport and car parking
Your best bet is public transport to Eden Park. Should there be no service or you don't have access to public transport to Eden Park, limited car parking will be available at the venue (first in best dressed) via P5 off Reimers Ave.
In the event of wet weather the course may be modified to ensure the safety of all our stompers. Please climb with care.
Post event extras
Limited stock of our official merchandise may be available for purchase on the day within Gate H (pending availability).
Official event photographs will be taken by Super Sport Images on the course and at the finish line. These will be available for purchase post event via their website (www.supersportimages.com). Allow a couple of days for these to become available.
Event Day Food
Limited snacks and coffee will be available to purchase within the concourse area of Gate H. Fruit and water will be handed to all participants post climb.
Spectators will be allowed FREE entry to Eden Park (subject to the ground's entry conditions). A designated area will be assigned for spectators within the stadium bays. Please refer to the course map on this website for location. Best access point for this is also Gate H.
